nacly asked:

The most notable part for me is the way you have a balance of geometric and smooth shapes in each drawing (contour wise)! It's really recognizable and awesome

Ohhh thats interesting *Q*\ thanks!!!

Anonymous asked:

The patterns/colors in your art (: They're always so warm/unique and they inspire me to draw tbh!

Ahh ye I love drawing patterns n0n

Thanks anon!

Anonymous asked:

Would it be rude if I asked all of them? I'm particularly interested in 30.

I guess it’s fine because everything will be in one post!!

Do you prefer traditional drawing, or digital?
I prefer drawing digitally because it’s cheaper! I also have more trouble with coloring traditionally, sob

How long have you been drawing?
Well technically I’ve been drawing as long as I could hold a pencil!! But I’ve been drawing seriously since age 13

How many classes have you taken?
I have no idea dude! Probably around 6 or 8 or smth

Do you have a DeviantArt, personal website, or art blog?
I have my dA and pixiv pages linked on my blog if you want to check them out n0n

How often do you use references?
Uh well I don’t use references directly for most of my personal art BUT I will practice drawing from reference a lot! Most of the time when I use references directly it’s for a specific hand pose

Do you draw professionally, or just for fun?
I do draw for fun and I draw commissions so I guess both right now!!

How much time do you spend drawing on an average day?
I really don’t know! Maybe 1 hour maybe 6. I usually multitask and get sidetracked so this is hard to estimate.

Are you confident about your art?
Am I confident enough to do professional art: probably not
Confident that I can draw a few select things: I guess!

How many art-related blogs do you follow?
A LOT LOL„most of my dashboard is art-related heh

Is it okay for people to ask you about your process?
I guess! I don’t really feel like knowing my process will help tho tbh

Do you prefer to keep your art personal, or do you like drawing things for other people?
I like drawing personal stuff more, but drawing gifts for friends can be really fun!

Do you ever collaborate with others?
I’ve done some collabs before, but it’s pretty rare haha

How long does an average piece take you to complete?
I honestly have no idea? Sometimes it takes a couple days, sometimes it takes months. I also let things sit in my art folder for long periods of time oops..n0n

Do you draw more today than you did in the past, or do you draw less?
I feel like I draw more now than i used to, which is good.

Do you think you’re justified in giving other people art advice?

It really depends on the topic and their skill level, but if I critique I try to do my best u0u/

What are you currently trying to improve on?
EVERYTHING…but mostly drawing more than one person on one canvas, environments, variety in characters
basically everything

What is the most difficult thing for you to draw?
I feel like faces are the hardest thing to draw because I am So Dang Picky 8u8 I should probably relax a little tbh

Do you like to challenge yourself?
I do!! If I don’t challenge myself enough I feel like I’m stagnating.

Are you confident that you’re improving steadily?
Not really haha I just continue blindly and hope that I’m practicing right…

Do you draw more fanart, or more original art?
I definitely draw more original art yo

Do you feel jealous when you see other people’s art, or inspired? (Be honest!)
Some art I get jealous of, and some art is inspiring…it depends on the type of art and my taste I guess

Do you like to draw in silence, or with music?
I always have to have music on or it’s a bit lonely 8u8 I also like talking to friends or watching tv while drawing

For digital artists: what program(s) do you use?
I use mostly Paint Tool Sai for drawing and Photoshop for painting. Sometimes I use drawr and opencanvas though

For digital artists: how many layers does a typical piece require?
Painted pieces only need 1-3 layers, but pieces with line art can have up to like 18 layers (sob)

For traditional artists: what medium do you like most? (Pencil, charcoals, etc)
I really like pencil and watercolors! Sharpie is nice too

For traditional artists: How do you usually start on a big piece? (Light sketch, colored lead, sketchpaper, etc)
I usually don’t draw very big but i think a super dull pencil is good for starting on larger pieces.

What inspires you to not just make art, but to be a better artist?
A good question hmm. Well one reason I like to try to improve is because drawing the same things in the same style gets old after a while. I also see a lot of art online that makes me want to take it to the limit!!

GOSH I hope this isn’t too long for you guys n0n;;

A digital watercolor doodle and a sketch trade with Emi. uvu

I’ve been a lot more busy IRL, so I don’t have a lot of polished work to show at the moment. Hopefully when I get back from vacation I can finish more stuff!!
